Commission of Paola Somma’s custom chopper painted live @ 2020 MBE Verona, Italy
Verona Motor Bike Expo is my favorite show that I’ve attended for a few years now. The volume, quality, and aftermarket for custom bikes from around the world, and hospitality are second to none. Paola Simms and Francesco Agnoletto have been hosting this show since 2009.
For the 2020 Show, Paola commissioned me to paint one of her personal custom rides built especially for her by world-renown builder Battistini’s a few years back and used some parts from Arlen Ness.
I painted live during the show. This bike was a blast to paint in my palette knife style and I was pleasantly surprised when Paola joined me in applying the finishing touches to the art piece!
