Sportfishing boats are beautiful sculptures on the water that are also highly functional. Although they are mostly found in deep water doing their thing, I wanted to paint a more unusual setting of the boat coming into the teal shallows of an island. After a day of fishing, we make a stop at our favorite island watering hole where they will cook up your fresh catch, have your favorite beer ready to chase it down, and with a picture-postcard view of the ocean that leaves you saying “ it doesn’t get any better than this!”…who’s in?
